Anastasia Miseyko

ANASTASÍA MISEYKO (KIROVOGRAD, UKRAINE; 1996)
Documentary photographer and visual storyteller.

She graduated in journalism in the University of Valencia and later specialized in photojournalism in the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). After a long period developing “How would you feel if the sun disappeared”, a personal project about the northernmost part of Norway, Miseyko transferred to Italy in 2021, where she’s currently based. There, she completed two art residencies: Fabrica Research Center (Treviso TV), and Habitat (Tredozio FC).

Her work is related to territory and identity, the profound bond between human and nature, intimacy and private stories. Using both photography and writing as her main tools to communicate, she is passionate about exploring personal memory and social issues, and deeply engaged in contemporary photography and visual culture.
